Have you ever seen a music video that was drawn by teenagers? I mean, is that even possible? Well, San Diego’s Tech High International class of 2013 has managed to turn that absurd idea into reality. Over 100 of their students drew approximately 3000 pictures for Michael Andrews’s music video, entitled “Bubbles in Space.” The video was directed/produced by Josh Hassin. The art direction was done by Jeremy Farson, edited by Franck Deron and photographed by the Joelsons.

The teenagers were provided with art supplies, a version of the music video that was filmed and instructions to follow the frame references. However, they were also allowed to show their artistic talents and creativity by adding their own personal touches to the drawings. The final product became a unique, picturesque and astonishing music video for “Bubbles in Space.” If you haven’t seen the music video yet, click here and prepare to be amazed!

Jeremy Farson, who is also the 11th grade art teacher at San Diego’s Tech High International, and Josh Hassin explained the difficult and hard work put into this project. Hassin said that the most tiring part of this project was printing and scanning all the photos and drawings. However, the final video has been attracting quite the amount of buzz from the Internet!
